

You have to use the RivaTuner Statistics Server specifically to show the OSD using the stats it gets from MSI Afterburner. The MSI Afterburner only provides the hardware monitoring stats and doesn’t actually show the OSD. After the reboot, install the drivers you downloaded previously before connecting to the internet again.Select GPU and your GPU device on the drop-down boxes.Under the Specific Options for your GPU, check all options except removing Bus drivers.Under General Options, check Create a system restore point, Remove Vulkan Runtime, and all recommended options.After your PC boots in safe mode, open the DDU and select Options from the menu bar.On the Launch option window, set the drop-down box to Safe Mode and click Reboot to Safe Mode.Check Enable Safe Mode dialog and click Close. If you are opening the DDU for the first time, it pops up the Options menu.If you don’t have the app, you need to download it from its GitHub page and extract it first. Disconnect your internet connection and run the Display Driver Uninstaller.


If updating doesn’t work, you need to remove the current driver using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) and then install the driver again from the official source. You should be able to find the driver under the Support or Drivers tab on the website. It’s best to update the graphics driver from the manufacturer’s website. So, you should always make sure that you have the latest drivers. You need proper graphics drivers so that your system and applications can detect and use the graphics card appropriately. If it still doesn’t work, you can re-enable this feature again.

In such cases, you won’t see any data on the MSI interface. Sometimes, the MSI Afterburner can launch before your system finishes initializing the NVIDIA drivers.
